A beautiful spring day in Rathfeigh with 58 players taking part on the day. The 36 nett winners were Lily Andrews (Trim) Tom Elliott (Stackallen) and Richard Brennan (Bellewstown with a score of 67. 36 gross was won by Stephen Lynch (Rathfeigh) & Phil Carry (Castletown) with a 79. The 18 nett winners were Kathleen Grendon (Rathfeigh), Paul O'Rourke (Dunshaughlin) & Willo McNally (Stackallen). Afterwards there was a wonderful spread for all to enjoy. The Spring Alliance finishes next Saturday with a trip to Gaeil Colmcille.

We extend sincere sympathy to Paddy Kelly (Registrar/Vice Chairman MCB) and his family, on the death of his father Mr. John Kelly, Trim, Co. Meath.

Removal on Wednesday to St. Patrick’s Church, Trim, arriving for Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Loman’s Cemetery, Trim. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Despite a watery day 33 players travelled to Oldcastle last Saturday. The results are as follows: 36 Nett: Willo McNally (Stackallen), Mark Fay (Laytown) and Willy Cribben (Castletown). -- 70 2/3

36 Gross: Teresa Fagan (Royal Meath), Tony Browne (Castletown) and Matty Gorman (Ratoath). -- 92. Best 18 Nett: Noreen Myles (Castletown), Paul O'Rourke (Dunshaughlin) and Errol Carry (Rathfeigh). -- 34 2/3. Afterwards all players enjoyed tasty refreshments that were most welcome on the day that was in it! Next week we head to Stackallen.
